Mariners are advised that a lost anchor chain has been reported in Southend “E” Anchorage (Position 51° 29.949’ N 000° 46.787’ E).
Until this chain is recovered, anchoring in “Southend Echo Anchorage” is prohibited.

The Port of London Authority are currently making arrangements for its recovery.
This prohibition will remain in place until such time as the anchor chain has been recovered.
