Erith Reach - Erith Oil Works - Lifting Operations

Mariners are advised that on or about Thursday 10th July contractors instructed by ADM Erith Ltd will commence operations at Erith Oil Works, Erith Reach.  Operations are to be undertaken between the hours of 0800 and 1700hrs on weekdays only, with works expected to take no longer than working 10 days.

These works will involve the Crane Barge “Thames Transporter” and will include lifting and rigging operations, with Tugs and support boats in attendance when required. 

 Requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedure set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘Speed Reductions’. 

The display of these signals will be in addition to any lights or shapes required under local regulations and the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
